Pests cost time and money – disrupting operations, damaging stock and possible reputations as well as posing major threats to food safety and standards compliance.

So, it is worth being prepared for the biggest pest threats to your food processing business and complying with standards such as BRC and other supermarket auditing standards.

The most significant impact of pests on food production operations come from rodents, flying insects (flies and moths) as well as crawling insects. Each one (individually or collectively) can affect your business in their own way, resulting in negative goodwill, loss of productivity and a breakdown in food production.

This course covers the basics for pest awareness, your role in the pest management chain and how everyone needs to be part of the overall process.

This course is currently being updated and will be available shortly.
